ROLE OF THE PRECINCT CHAIRS

• Serves on the County Executive Committee

• Important business is often transacted and you are needed to represent those in you Precinct

• Follow the CEC By-laws and all laws prescribed by the Republican Party

• Participate on Committees

• Getting People in Your Precinct Involved

• Recruit Volunteers and Organize your Precinct

• Identify Voters

• Register Republican Voters

• Inform Voters and Turns Out Voters during Early Voting and on Election Day

• Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) where appropriate

• Involved in the Convention Process-Especially Precinct and County Conventions

• Activist to Promote the RPT Platform in the Precinct but also in the Legislature

• Work as a Judge at the Polls in ALL Elections but most importantly the Primary and General

• Working the Polls is the best way to ensure Ballot Integrity

• As Precinct Chair you have responsibility for the Precinct Convention

• At the County Convention you are expected to attend as a delegate

• At the State Convention you are expected to a least attend as a delegate but, if possible, also participate in Committees and Caucus meetings

• Potential to be a National Delegate

• As a Precinct Chair you are expected to know the RPT Platform

• Advocate for it with those in Your Precinct

• Advocate for those causes in the Platform that are important to you and the CEC at the Legislature​

• Preform other duties that may be needed
